Celebrating with us at Oktoberfest St. Louis? Here's what you need to know:

September 28th - 30th at Urban Chestnut's Midtown Brewery & Biergarten (3229 Washington Ave)

do i need a ticket to attend?

No, admission is free to Oktoberfest St. Louis. Beer, food, and commemorative 1L steins will be available for purchase at the event using cash.

is the event cash only?

Yes, Oktoberfest St. Louis is a cash only event in order to alleviate lines. There is one ATM on site, but bring plenty of CASH with you.

what are the prices for beer and food?

Festival-goers may buy an authentic 1-liter glass stein for $12 at the festival and get 1-liter fills for $12. 16oz pours will be available for $7 each. An assortment of food items provided by UCBC will be available for $6-$8 each. Food trucks will be on-site at various times throughout the weekend.

Will there be a token system this year?

No. We are expanding Oktoberfest St. Louis to include an outdoor market featuring local vendors and food trucks this year so we thought it best to keep things simple. To alleviate lines, all beer and UCBC food will be cash only, so come prepared! There will be multiple ATMs available on site

Can i bring my own stein?

Yes, we will happily fill your personal stein! $7 for 0.5L fill and $12 for a 1L fill.

Parking is available on the street, in SLU's parking garage & lots, the Fox Theatre parking garage, and the Grand Center parking lots surrounding Powell Hall. We strongly recommend using public transportation, carpooling, and ridesharing services like Lyft and Uber.

Oktoberfest St. Louis is a rain or shine event. There will be plenty of tents set up throughout the festival grounds. In the event of severe storms, the live music will be postponed.

Are backpacks/coolers/purses allowed?

Yes, backpacks, coolers, and purses are allowed. Outside alcohol is not allowed.

Will there be any beverages served besides beer?

Yes, water stations will be set up throughout the festival grounds. Our Cider, Bushelhead, along with sparkling hop water and soda will be available for purchase in the Taste Room only. In order to keep the lines (of beer & people!) flowing at Oktoberfest, beer will be the only alcoholic beverage served at all pouring stations throughout the fest. There will be plenty of food and non-beer-related festivities at the event as well!

Are children allowed?

Yes! The whole family is welcome at Oktoberfest. Sunday is traditionally considered Family Day and will feature the Circus Flora performers, a children’s agility course, cookie decorating, and more!

Are dogs allowed?

Yes, dogs are welcome at Oktoberfest, especially on Family Day (9/30)! There will be hydration stations set up throughout the fest and a doggy relief area located at the corner of Josephine Baker Blvd. and Washington Ave. The only place they will not be allowed is inside the Taste Room.

Will your other locations (the u.r.b. and the grove) be open during oktoberfest?

Yes. Our Grove location (4465 Manchester Ave) and The U.R.B. (4501 Manchester Ave) will be open for regular business hours all weekend.
